The invention relates to a target-carrier assembly (22) mounted on a rotary electric machine that comprises: a rotor rotatingly mounted in a casing; a fan (50) rotatingly connected to the rotor; the annular target-carrier (22) that is separate from the fan (50) and connected thereto and that is attached to the fan (50); at least one target (20) carried by the target-carrier (22), wherein one of the target-carrier (22)- fan (50) members, or so-called first member, includes first elastic-fitting fastening means to be elastically fitted to second fastening means having a complementary shape and carried by the other fan (50)- target-carrier (22) member, or so-called second member, for attaching the target-carrier (22) to the inner periphery of the fan. The invention can be used for an alternator-starter for an automobile. |
