<p>The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to driving chains. The inventive crossing double chain consists of links which are located at an angle to each other. Each link consists of several levels of supporting and connecting plates joined by pairs by two rows of pins. The outer and inner pins are arranged in two rows in a closed chain in such a way that the outer pins form the outer row and the inner pins form the inner row. Each level consists of two layers of connecting plates and one layer of supporting plates. On the lower layer, the outer pin row connects the external parts of the supporting and connecting plates, and the inner pin row connects the opposite lower parts of the supporting plates and the lower parts of right adjacent connecting plates. On the upper layer, the outer pin row connects the external parts of the supporting plates and the upper parts of the left adjacent connecting plates, wherein in the link, the layer of the supporting plates is disposed between the layers of the connecting plates. The aim of the invention is to reduce impact loads applied to the chain and the friction losses of the engagement of the chain with a gear.</p> |
