A method and a system for recognizing a parking ticket by using a scanner and a computer-readable medium thereof are provided to issue a parking ticket through a simple printing process without magnetic mounting, barcode printing or punching, thereby issuing the parking ticket at low costs. At least one data among a character, a number and an image printed on a parking ticket is extracted by scanning a parking ticket(S100). A parking cost is calculated from the extracted data according to a kind of the parking ticket(S200). The calculated parking cost is displayed on a personal computer in which a recording medium is mounted or a display installed outside(S300). |
