PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reduction of power consumption in a device having a parallel communication interface.

SOLUTION: This control device comprising the parallel communication interface does not supply a drive electric source to the parallel communication interface when the control device boots. After booting, the control device monitors connection to a communication target device. When the control device detects the connection to the communication target device, the control device starts supply of a drive electric source to the parallel communication interface.
