PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking supporting device capable of parking a vehicle in a state that a driver expects even in setting a parking target by using a bird's-eye image etc. SOLUTION: This parking supporting device is furnished with camera modules 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d to photograph the circumference of the vehicle, an image transforming part 13a to form the bird's-eye image by transforming coordinates of an image of the circumference of the vehicle, an obstruction detecting part 7 to detect a distance to an obstruction existing in the circumference of the vehicle, a parking target region setting part 13b to set a parking target region in the bird's-eye image in accordance with the distance to the obstruction, a display image forming part 13d to form a display image superimposing a parking target mark to show the parking target region on the bird's-eye image and a monitor 8 to display the display image.
