PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving supporting device capable of supporting driving of a user by reducing a load of driving by showing a traveling index so as to make it easy for the user to see even in traveling on a narrow road without the traveling index. SOLUTION: This driving supporting device to support the driving of the user traveling on the road on a vehicle is furnished with a photographing part to photograph the front of the vehicle, a center line existence judging part to judge existence of a center line on the road on which the user travels from a photographed image photographed by the photographing part, a traveling index position estimating part to estimate a position of the traveling index to exist on the road on which the user travels in accordance with a position of a road end of the road on which the user travels and a traveling index describing part to describe the traveling index by projecting light at the position on the road on which the user travels which is estimated by the traveling index position estimating part.
