PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and compact article arranging and conveying device, arranging long articles in the desired direction. SOLUTION: The article arranging and conveying device 100 has: a vertically movable floor 20 which is provided with a floor surface 21 with flat members 22 for regulating both ends in the longitudinal direction of long articles 1 being erected from both sides thereof and vertically moved; a fixed article throw-in unit 10 for positionally regulating the longitudinal direction of the long articles 1 in the direction orthogonal to the article conveying direction on the upstream side along the article conveying direction of the vertically movable floor 20; and a discharge chute 30 on the downstream side along the article conveying direction of the vertically movable floor 20.
