PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for high lift work capable of safely adjusting the inclination of a working table even when a wall is present closely above and below the working table. SOLUTION: The apparatus for high lift work comprises a parallel link type extensible arm 6 mounted on a fore end of a derrickable boom 5 in a vertically oscillating manner, and a working table 8 mounted on a fore end of the extensible arm 6, and further comprises a leveling device capable of maintaining the angular posture of a base end side link member 6a of the extensible arm at a constant value irrespective of the derricking angle, and maintaining the constant angular posture of the working table accordingly. When operating a leveling cylinder 62 based on the leveling adjustment operation, a control unit oscillates the extensible arm 6 in the direction vertically opposite to the oscillating direction of the base end side link member 6a, and controls the operation of an extensible cylinder 55 so that the working table 8 is not vertically moved.
