PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable one operator to easily fix an embedded type microphone device to a fitted wall even when the thickness of the fitted wall is larger than the axial length of a microphone. SOLUTION: The embedded type microphone device includes a microphone body 11 which has a microphone unit 14 stored on one end side in a microphone case 12 inserted into a fitted hole 5a and has a microphone output cord 16 led out of the other end side, and a sleeve 21 fitted slidably around the microphone case 12 and inserted into the fitted hole 5a together with the microphone body 11. A neck portion 13 which is reduced in diameter is formed on the one end side of the microphone case 12 and an elastic ring 30 is fitted. A front cover 40 whose diameter is nearly same as that of the sleeve 21 is fitted to an end of the neck portion 13, the microphone case 12 and sleeve 21 are relatively moved closer to each other in axial directions to each other with a male screw 24 on the side of the sleeve 21 and a female screw 18 on the side of the microphone case 12, and the elastic ring 30 is compressed to increase in diameter, and pressed against the fitted hole.
