摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunable laser module capable of operating a shutter by appropriately detecting the lapse of a state where the wavelength of light varies greatly. SOLUTION: The tunable laser module comprises: wavelength-variable laser light sources 11-13 capable of emitting light with a wavelength according to a wavelength control signal; temperature control sections 14-17 for controlling the temperature of the wavelength-variable laser light sources 11-13; wavelength control sections 18-23 for controlling the wavelength of light emitted from the wavelength-variable laser light sources 11-13; power control sections 24-28 for controlling the power of the wavelength-variable laser light sources 11-13; a wavelength temperature stability determination circuit 29 for determining whether a wavelength and temperature have stabilized based on temperature control signals and wavelength control signals and generating an ON switch signal when they have stabilized; optical switches 30, 31 capable of switching the optical path of emitted light when the ON switch signal is inputted; an optical termination element 32 for absorbing incident light; and an optical connector 33 for coupling an external transmission line to the incident light.
