#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a cutting roller (9) and an impression roller (10) between which a cutting gap (14) is formed, where material web e.g. non-woven fabric, is guided via the gap. A pressure-controlling element (1a) presses the rollers against each other with adjustable force. The roller (9) lies over bearer rings (15a, 15b) at the impression roller. The force is adjustable based on values determined by a force sensor. The rings include a conical or frustum-shaped outer contour. The device can change the distance between the rollers depending upon axial shift and/or adjustment of the rollers to each other, if the axial-controlling element adjusts one of the two rollers in an axial direction.
