<p>Provided is a passive exercise machine comprising a movable unit, on which a user can ride, a drive unit constituted to cause the movable unit to perform rocking motions, a control unit constituted to control the rocking motion speed of the drive unit, and a rhythm extracting unit for extracting a rhythm from musical data reproduced separately. The control unit is constituted to change the rocking motion speed in response to a rhythm signal outputted from the rhythm extracting unit, thereby to synchronize the period of the rocking motions of the movable unit with that rhythm.</p> |
