A method for eliminating heavy metal ions in plating wastewater is provided to remove the heavy metals in the plating wastewater, especially a three-valent chrome ion without generation of a large amount of sludge and expensive processing cost. A method for eliminating heavy metal ions in plating wastewater comprises a step for processing the plating wastewater with a backwashing minute filter membrane of which pore size is 0.01 ~ 0.4 mum, and a step for processing the processed wastewater with a reverse osmosis membrane of which pore size is 10Å or less. A first process is performed with operation pressure of 2 ~ 4 Kg/cm^2. In a second process, an inflow of processed water to the reverse osmosis membrane is 20 ~ 25 L/minutes. |
