A roasting apparatus is provided to collect metallic component from steelmaking process by-product and nickel raw ore economically and effectively by uniformly roasting the whole of briquette after the ignition of a briquette stack without additional heat. A roasting apparatus comprises: a roasting box inlet part(60) injecting a roasting box(50) in which the shaped briquette is stored; an ignition unit(70) igniting the lower part of the briquette stored in the roasting box; a transferring part(80) transferring the roasting box to perform the roasting process by consecutively igniting the whole briquette; a grinding part(90) pulverizing the briquette which is transferred along the transport unit; and a pulverized briquet inlet part injecting the pulverized briquette in a molten reduction furnace. The lower part of the roasting box is composed of the sheet of a metal mesh. |
