CAX CHEMICAL COMPOUND ADDED MAGNESIUM AND MAGNESIUM ALLOYS AND THEIR MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A magnesium alloy including calcium chemical compound and a manufacturing method thereof is provided to obtain the fire resistance of the alloy and clean fusion technology by appropriately adding the small quantity of CaCN2 or CaC2 which is calcium chemical compound. A manufacturing method of a magnesium alloy including calcium chemical compound comprises: a first step(100) injecting pure magnesium or magnesium alloy in a crucible and dissolving the magnesium or the magnesium alloy in protective gas atmosphere at the temperature of 600~800°C; a second step(200) adding calcium(CaX) compound powder of 0.0001~30 weight% and agitating the magnesium alloy; a third step(300) post-agitating the magnesium alloy for 300 minutes or less; and a fourth step(400) manufacturing a billet or a casting by injecting the post-agitated magnesium alloy into a mold at the temperature of 600~700°C. The mold is one among metal type, ceramics type and graphite type.
