A mapper device scheduling a data modulation signal size and a method for scaling the data modulation signal size in a mapper are provided to obtain a mapper output value by suing a mapping table. A mapper device of an OFDMA transmitter is comprised of a processor(620) and a mapping table(630). The mapping table stores the mapping value of the specific data and the general data. The processor produces the mapping value using the data information of the data to be transmitted before transmitting the data at an up frame. The processor applies the mapping value to the mapping table and generates a new mapping table or updates the mapping table. The processor outputs the mapping value corresponding to the transmitted data from the mapping table. A determining unit(621) compares the general data format information of the current frame and the general data format information of the prior frame. The determining unit determines to generate or update the fixing message table of the mapping table if the general data format of the current frame is changed.
