<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a composite containment casing having an integral abradable system. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a composite containment casing having the integral abradable system includes the following processes: A mandrel having a pocket is prepared, and a sandwich structure is arranged in the pocket. A material of at least one layer is applied on the periphery of the mandrel having the pocket including the sandwich structure in it, and a containment casing preform is formed. A resin is injected in the containment casing preform. The containment casing preform is cured, and the containment casing is formed.
