PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent solid soap superior in transparency without muddiness (whitening) nor blooming, hard to occur a sweating phenomenon and hard to change the shape after drying and further superior in a yield. SOLUTION: The transparent solid soap contains 2 to 20 mass% of a compound (A) represented by a formula (1) (wherein n represents an integer of 2 to 6), 30 to 80 mass% of a fatty acid salt (B), and 5 to 25 mass% of water (C).
