METHOD OF DESIGNING BGP SESSION, SESSION DESIGNING APPARATUS AND BGP SESSION DESIGNING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design an iBGP (internal border gateway protocol) in which each router in an AS (autonomous system) ensures the redundancy of a next hop.

SOLUTION: A session designing apparatus 100 refers to a router information database to select a router 20 of a destination of setting an iBGP session from among routers 20 having a BGP route in which a next hop is not made redundant. In this case, when iBGP session must be set for a plurality of opposite routers 20, the apparatus 100 selects a router 20 receiving a large number of different BGP routes for the same prefix as much as possible by adding one iBGP session.
