摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new laminar flow width detection method capable of detecting easily each width of a plurality of laminar flows formed in a channel. <P>SOLUTION: The laminar flow width detection method for detecting each width of the plurality of laminar flows formed in the channel includes at least an optical information detection step of detecting optical information generated from a reference substance contained in the laminar flow, and a laminar flow width calculation step of calculating the width of the laminar flow based on the optical information detected in the optical information detection step. In the laminar flow width detection method, the reference substance is contained in the laminar flow, so that each concrete width of the plurality of laminar flows formed in the channel can be detected easily.
