<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress supply of wind causing a feeling of discomfort to a user. <P>SOLUTION: In the air conditioner 1 carrying out wind capacity automatic operation of automatically selecting a control zone (tap) corresponding to a rotational frequency of an indoor fan in response to a condition of an indoor unit periphery, during a predetermined period at the wind capacity automatic operation, even if a requested fan tap is an MH tap (Yes in step S11), an M tap is selected instead of selecting the MH tap, and an upper limit of wind capacity blown out from a blowout opening of an indoor unit is limited (step S13).
