摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical path conversion device having the improved efficiency of condensing light, and an optical module. <P>SOLUTION: The optical path conversion device 30 is constituted of prisms 13 and 14 having two orthogonal symmetric reflection planes, and prisms 15a and 15b where enneahedron prisms having two pairs of two orthogonal symmetric reflection planes are connected. The prisms 13 and 14 are connected with each other and have common symmetric surfaces, and the enneahedron prism has symmetric surfaces parallel with an xy surface and an xz surface. Linear laser beams in an x direction emitted from bar lasers 10a and 10b stacked in a laser module are condensed by FAC lenses 11a and 11b and SAC lenses 12a and 12b, branched by the prism 13, made incident on the optical path conversion device, divided into two or more in the x direction, rotated around an optical axis by 90°and emitted, and condensed by a cylindrical lens 16 and a focus lens 17 to be guided to an optical fiber 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
