PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus and the like capable of following up time level variation in space of a reception signal. SOLUTION: The radio communication apparatus 10 of frequency hopping system, which has signal mixing units 101, 102 for producing a baseband signal from a wideband radio signal received, includes: a signal level detection unit 113 for detecting a level of the baseband signal; a signal level calculation unit 20 for calculating a signal level of the wideband radio signal for each hopping frequency; a storage unit 22 for storing a signal level adjustment value relating to a signal level difference of the wideband radio signal that may occur between hopping frequencies; a signal level adjustment unit 24 for acquiring from the storage unit 22 an adjustment value corresponding to the difference; and a signal level change unit 106 for changing the signal level of the wideband radio signal for each reception hopping frequency in accordance with the adjustment value acquired.
