KNIT WEAR WITH HOOD AND METHOD FOR KNITTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a knit wear with a hood produced by a flat knitting frame and having a three-dimensional form while having resistance to the loss of stretchability. SOLUTION: A turn-back knitting for increasing and decreasing the knitting width is repeated from the neck part by reversing in C-form with front and back needle beds to form a three-dimensional hood part having a stitch number larger at the middle part of the knit fabric in a wale direction than at the edge parts. Felled seaming is performed to the stitch of the circumferential edge of the opening, and the part to damage the stretchability is born at the edge part to keep the strethcability of the hood.
