PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating mist collector efficiently collecting fine particulate oil in floating mist in a factory or a building, with expected effect of easy maintenance, and an oil mist collection method in the factory or building with the expected effect, mainly using the floating mist collector. SOLUTION: In the floating mist collector, blades for sucking floating mist in air is provided to a casing provided with a suction port on one side, and a treatment means of one side and/or the other side treating the floating mist are provided to the suction side and blow-out side of the blades, a first support plate provided to one side of the casing and having a through-hole, and a motor driving the blades provided to the first support plate are provided, a cylinder having a convergence blow-out port is provided to the opening of one side of the casing, and a straightening body is provided to the cylinder.
