PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner capable of concurrently cleaning both faces of a net to be cleaned and thereby capable of improving its cleaning efficiency, and a cleaning method using the same. SOLUTION: The cleaner has a fluid ejection member 1 constituted of a fluid passage with its one end connected to a fluid supplier for supplying a fluid thereto and the other end thereof equipped with an ejection port 5d from which a fluid is ejected onto a face of a net to be cleaned to clean the same, and is further provided with a suction section 11 constituted of a suction passage equipped with a suction port 11d on its one end and a suction means for generating suction force in the suction passage. The ejection member 1 and the suction section 11 are connected at the ejection port 5d with forming a gap between the suction port 11d and the ejection port 5d to permit insertion of a net-like face to be cleaned between the two.
