<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet temper rolling method by which a steel sheet having the surface roughness (Ra) of a metallic strip which is specially desired. <P>SOLUTION: About transfer efficiency (α(ε,σy)) defined by the surface roughness (S) of a metallic strip after the temper rolling, the surface roughness (S<SB>0</SB>) of the metallic strip before the temper rolling, thickness (H) and the roughness (Sw) of a work roll, a regression expression by the elongation percentage (ε) at the temper rolling and the 0.2% yield strength (σy) of the metallic strip before the temper rolling is beforehand determined by experiments, the initial roughness (Sw<SB>0</SB>) of the work rolls to be built-in in the temper rolling mill is determined from the surface roughness (S<SB>0</SB>) of the metallic strip to be temper rolled, the thickness (H), the 0.2% yield strength (σy), an aimed elongation percentage (εaim) and the surface roughness (Saim) of the metallic after rolling on the basis of the transfer efficiency and the temper rolling is performed by selecting the work rolls near the surface roughness and building-in them into the temper rolling mill. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
