PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyurethane resin composition capable of molding a molded article excellent in mechanical properties and design properties with good productive efficiency, and the molded article molded from the composition. SOLUTION: In the thermoplastic polyurethane resin composition, a thermoplastic polyurethane having 1, 4-bis(isocyanatemethyl)cyclohexane as an isocyanate component, and a polyethylene wax are incorporated, wherein the polyethylene wax has a density ranging from 890 to 980 kg/m<SP>3</SP>determined by the density-gradient-tube in accordance with JIS K7112 (1999), and a number-average molecular weight of standard polyethylene conversion determined by the gel permeation chromatography, ranging from 700 to 4,000, and the wax satisfies the equation (1): B≤0.0075×K, wherein B represents the ratio of the content of a component of a standard polyethylene molecular weight of 20,000 or more to be incorporated in the polyethylene wax; and K represents the melt viscosity of the polyethylene wax at 140°C.
