A method for controlling motion of a game character and a method for providing a game service by using the method are provided to control motion of a game character by a movement amount of a mouse calculated through mouse motion, thereby enabling a user to easily control the game character. Motion of a mouse operated by a user is detected. A mouse movement amount is calculated according to the mouse motion. Action of the game character is controlled according to the calculated mouse movement amount and a click of a mouse button. |
