A METHOD FOR FOREST FIRE SPREAD MODELING USING SLOPE CALCULATION ALGORISM

A method for calculating a slope by using a slope calculation algorithm applied to forest fire spreading modeling is provided to divide values about upward and downward slopes influencing forest fire spreading into upward and downward. Information of an ignition point or a just combustion point and an altitude model is inputted(S10). When a current combustion point is adjacent to an ignition point or a just combustion point, a wood fire approach route is analyzed(S30). A required time by route is calculated by using a formula about a spreading time(S40). When a required time per a route is not the minimum required time, calculation of the required time per a route is re-performed(S50). When the required time per a route is not the minimum required time, a slope of a corresponding route is calculated through a slope calculation algorithm(S60).
