摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively correct a white spot with high accuracy in a liquid crystal display device having an LED light source provided in each of a plurality of light-emitting regions segmented by partitions. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 includes: a light guide section 111 guiding light from a light source in each light-emitting region; a shutter section 110 passing only the light in a prescribed light-emitting region in the light guided by the light guide section 111; a sensor 104 sensing the light passed by the shutter section 110; and a backlight driving section 12 controlling the light source disposed in the prescribed light-emitting region on the basis of the sensing information by the sensor 104.
