摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of hydrogen embrittlement in a high-pressure hydrogen system, without depending on the selection of a material corresponding to a material test or the result thereof. SOLUTION: A diaphragm member 2, which comprises a material most easily subjected to hydrogen embrittlement in the use material of the high-pressure hydrogen system, is provided to a sensor body 10 and the breakdown of the diaphragm member 2 is detected and decides that there is hydrogen embrittlement in the high-pressure hydrogen system. A hydrogen embrittlement phenomenon is monitored through a breakdown phenomenon in the diaphragm member 2 for detecting the hydrogen embrittlement or the effect thereof, before the constituent parts of the system are broken down.
