The arrangement has an artificial neural network (1) comprising a set of controllers formed as neurons (2.1-2.9), which are interlaced together by a bus system (3) i.e. controller area network bus in a simple topology, in which an input layer (E), a hidden layer (H) and an output layer (A) are formed. Weighing and threshold values assigned to the individual neurons are changed during implementing the artificial neural network in the controller arrangement. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing an artificial neural network in a controller arrangement of a motor vehicle.
