The method involves drilling a groove covering at an end such as beginning and ending, of a longitudinal hole by a drill that possesses a diameter corresponding to breadth of the covering. The drill is exactly positioned on the covering in the middle. The groove covering is pressed inside the groove by another drill. The groove covering is sheared-off at boundaries of the groove. The pressing is performed by a cutter which is a component of a press-die, and is performed such that the cutter is inclined towards the boundaries of the groove. An independent claim is also included for a device for drilling and mortising a covering of a closed groove of a profile.
