High intensity polyester fiber for a seat belt and manufacturing method thereof are provided to offer high modulus, high intensity, and low elongation at break etc by optimizing length and temperature of a hood heater. A manufacturing method of polyethylene terephthalate multifilament includes a solid-state polymerization, a melting extrusion, a spinning, and a winding processes of polyethylene terephthalate chips. The manufacturing method of polyethylene terephthalate multifilament includes a hood heater on a spinning nozzle(3) of which length is 120~160mm or 140~180mm. Temperature of the hood heater is 400~360°C, 380~350°C, and 360~340°C. |
