A plasma display device is provided to changeably adjust the interval between two electrode lines and to improve the luminance of the display picture. The upper panel(10) comprises sustain electrode pairs which are formed on the upper plate(11). The sustain electrode pair is classified into the scan electrode(12) and sustain electrode(13). The protective layer(15) is formed in the upper side of dielectric layer. The partition is comprised of the column barrier rib(22a) and row barrier rib(22b). The partition is formed in the lower panel(20). The surface of partition and lower dielectric layer(25) are coated with the fluorescent substance(24). |
