A method for eliminating loop supporting linkage with link aggregation in a spanning tree is provided to perform the detection for dual routes and the loop prevention efficiently though the spanning tree links to a link aggregation. A link aggregation is set up for some ports that participate in a spanning tree, and a representative port is created to represent the some ports in the spanning tree. The created representative port and the ports not included in the link aggregation elect a new route port through the mutual exchange with a BPDU(Bridge Protocol Data Unit). The ports except the elected routes are blocked.
