An emergency pressure exhaust apparatus of a hopper, a pressure exhaust method and a resident pressure removal method are provided to prevent gas poisoning accident and prevent manufacturing cost from rising as thermal efficiency is degraded. An emergency pressure exhaust apparatus of a hopper comprises: a first valve(11) discharging gas within a furnace hopper(2) to a gas collecting device for pressure exhaust inside the furnace hopper; a second valve(12) which is set in the back end of the first valve; a third valve(14) which is branched between the first valve and the furnace hopper and ejects the gas to a silence side; a fourth valve(110) arranged in a pipe between the silence and the third valve; and a fifth valve(120) branched between the third valve and the fourth valve. The emergency pressure exhaust comprises: a cyclone installed between the furnace hopper and the third valve; and a sixth valve installed between the cyclone and the furnace hopper.
