NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTEGRATING FAULTS

A network management system for the fault integration and a method thereof are provided to reduce the number of times a fault is generated, thereby improving the operability and reduce the number of operators. A network management database(140) stores information about target network equipments whose a ping non-response fault and SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) fault will be searched together with the search cycle. A fault search unit(150) requests the target network equipments to transmit information about the ping non-response fault and SNMP fault according to the search cycle found in the network management database. A fault processing unit(160) upwardly adjust and stores the fault levels of the target network equipments in case of the SNMP fault.
