<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide two-dimensional photodetector which detects a marker position with high accuracy and to provide an optical recording/reproducing device which correctly and quickly reproduces recording information data by geometrically correcting a detected image based on the marker position. <P>SOLUTION: Object light including a marker for positing is created in a spatial modulation pattern and recorded in a recording medium. The recording information data and marker data are detected from the detection light from the recording medium by two-dimensional sensor 16a. Detection accuracy of the marker position is raised by changing unit photodetector areas of a marker detection area 52 of the two-dimensional sensor and a data detection area 51. Also, detection accuracy of the marker position is raised by making the bit length of the detected marker data longer than that of the information data. Further the recording information is reproduced quickly, since marker positioning, geometric correction, etc. can be started early by outputting the detected marker data prior to information data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
