<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a β-glucan-containing beverage containing β-glucan as a functional component, free from generation of precipitate, and having a low turbidity degree. <P>SOLUTION: The β-glucan-containing beverage free from generation of precipitate and having low turbidity is produced by using β-glucan-containing grain such as barley or oates wheat as β-glucan raw material, subjecting the raw material to protein decomposition reaction, liquefaction reaction, saccharification reaction, solid-liquid separation and drying so as to utilize β-glucan-containing saccharified material having high water-solubility for a beverage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
