<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions and methods relating to anti-IGF-1 receptor or compositions and methods obtained from the antibody. <P>SOLUTION: In a particular embodiment, provided are fully human, humanized, or chimera anti-IGF-1 R-antibody that bind human IGF-R, IGF-1 R-binding fragments and derivatives of such antibodies, and IGF-1 R-binding polypeptides including such fragments. In another embodiment, methods for producing such antibodies, antibody fragments, derivatives, nucleic acids encoding polypeptides, cells including such nucleotides, such antibodies, antibody fragments, derivatives and polypeptides.
