<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaner capable of preventing particulate substances from being deposited to an insulator inside an insulator chamber and a discharge electrode, or capable of removing the substances even deposited thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cleaner 1 includes: an outer shell 2 having a cylindrical shape; a dust collecting filter device 5 disposed inside the outer shell 2 and composed of a dust collecting electrode 3 and a dust collecting filter layer 4; a gas passage 6 provided inside the dust collecting filter device 5 and forming an exhaust channel containing the particulate substances; a discharge electrode 7 disposed at the center part of the outer shell 2 and extended in the axial direction of the outer shell 2, and generating ion wind in a space with the dust collecting electrode 3 of the dust collecting filter device 5 when a voltage is applied; the insulator chamber 9 extended upward of the outer shell 2 and internally arranging the insulator 11; and a discharge electrode supporting material 10 extended to the gas passage 6 through the inside the insulator chamber 9 and for supporting the discharge electrode 7. In the cleaner 1, below the insulator 11 of the insulator chamber 9, a discharge electrode supporting material 10 is provided with a discharge electrode 12 for insulator chamber for applying voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
