A shuttlecock comprises a cap and a skirt having tapered integrally moulded stems flared outwardly from the cap, each stem having a plurality of ribs projecting from its lower part. The area between the ribs may be filled by a verv fine leaf. The skirt may be injection moulded and may be moulded complete with a cap, Fig. 2, or separately, Fig. 1. It is preferably made from material with a specific gravity of less than 1.2 e.g. polythene. |
