<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installation work efficiency, while reducing the number of part items. <P>SOLUTION: This tripod type constant velocity universal joint has an outer ring 10 forming three track grooves 12 extending in the axial direction on an inner peripheral surface and having a roller guide surface 14 respectively extending in the axial direction on both sides of the respective track grooves 12, a tripod member 20 having three leg shafts 24 projecting in the radial direction, a roller 30 guided along the roller guide surface 14 by being inserted into the track grooves 12 of the outer ring 10 rotatably supported by the leg shafts 24 of the tripod member 20, and a plurality of needle-like rollers 40 arranged between the leg shafts 24 and the roller 30. A recessed groove part 23 storing the needle-like rollers 40 and having a bottom surface 23a formed as a rolling surface of the needle-like rollers 40, is formed in the peripheral direction on an outer peripheral surface of the leg shafts 24. An inside collar part 25 is arranged on the base end side in the radial direction of the recessed groove part 23, and an outside collar part 27 is arranged on the tip side in the radial direction. Collar surfaces 25a and 27a are formed in a tapered shape, and its tapered angle is set at 90°-140°in an opening angle from the bottom surface 23a of the recessed groove part 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
