PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a sensing circuit have a function for detecting environmental illumination.

SOLUTION: The sensing circuit 40 is provided with: an amplification transistor 41 for outputting a detection current corresponding to a gate potential; a reset transistor 42 provided between the gate of the amplification transistor 41 and a power source line 20 to be in an on state in accordance with a reset signal RES supplied through a first control line 10; a reference capacitive element 44 provided between the first control line 10 and the gate of the amplification transistor 41; a capacitance detection element 45, the one terminal of which is connected to the gate of the amplification transistor 41 and to the other terminal of which a fixed potential Vx is supplied; and a selection transistor 43 provided between the amplification transistor 41 and a detection line 21 to be an on state through a second control line 11 in accordance with a selection signal SEL. Further, the reset transistor 42 is formed in an area where the reset transistor 42 does not overlap on a black matrix so as to allow outdoor daylight to be made incident.
