PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate module replacement in units of modules when a failure occurs in a module processor. SOLUTION: A data processor has one or more attachable/detachable communication modules 21. The data processor includes: a means for detachably processing a failed communication module 21a; and a means for automatically diagnosing a communication module 21a' when the communication module 21a is replaced with the other communication module 21a'.
