PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display device which hardly causes the deterioration of image quality even when a signal transmitted from a signal processing part to a display part is sampled on a sample hold circuit. SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of the invention, the flat panel display device comprises: a phase control circuit for setting such a state that first parallel arrangement RGB pixel signals shift in a phase by 120°to one another; a sampling circuit which respectively samples second parallel arrangement RGB pixel signals ontputted in parallel from the phase control circuit to obtain a series arrangement RGB pixel signal having frequency three times as much as that of a single pixel signal; and a driver for display area which supplies the series arrangement RGB pixel signal to the corresponding display pixel.
