PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail fixing structure of construction machinery, which can reduce vibrations transmitted to a handrail from a machinery body. SOLUTION: This fixing structure of the handrail 7 is provided with a fixing member for fixing the handrail 7, functioning as a handrail, to a fuel tank 4 as a part of the machinery body of a hydraulic excavator. The fixing member includes a bolt 9, a washer 10, a shape retaining member 11, and a sheet screw 12. In the fixing structure, two sets of buffer members 8, which are composed of first and second buffer members 8a and 8b capable of absorbing vibrations and preventing the handrail 7 from coming into contact with the fixing member, are provided between the fixing member and the handrail 7.
