PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hollow polyester multifilament which uses a recycled polymer considered for global environments, can express a lightweight feeling and a soft feeling in a fabric, and has a fine single filament fineness. SOLUTION: This hollow polyester multifilament in which≥80 mol% of a polymer component constituting the multifilament is composed of polyethylene terephthalate units is characterized in that the polyester terephthalate is polyethylene terephthalate obtained by the transesterification of dimethyl terephthalate recycled by the depolymerization of polyethylene terephthalate, and a single fineness and a percentage of hollowness are 0.7 to 1.1 dtex and 20 to 40%, respectively.
